A healthy body supports healthy hearing

Proper care of the body and with it the brain, can be supportive of better communication. In fact, studies have shown that people who have a history of regular exercise tend to fare better as far as cognitive function, as they get older.

Exercise doesn’t have to mean running for miles. Even regular walking can be extremely beneficial.

Qi Gong

is another great option. It is a safe and beneficial exercise, which is typically practiced in China by people even as they advance in years, to help preserve flexibility and good overall health. It works on the principle that if the body’s internal energy can move freely than the person will enjoy better health with less pain, stiffness, and illness.

Red Light Therapy

For our patients, receiving light from these clinical grade light panels can decrease muscular skeletal recovery time and enhance overall circulation. We use Joovv panels. These are the same type that have been used by athletes, such as in the NFL, to treat injuries and after heavy workouts to speed recovery.

Exposure to this safe Red Light has been shown to increase the metabolism of the body’s cells and also to help promote better sleep cycles.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

The Emotional Freedom Technique is a safe, yet powerful technique for releasing mental and physical stress, which can allow you to enjoy your life more completely.

EFT incorporates tapping power points on the body’s acupuncture channels to reduce the negative effects of stress and balance the function of the Amygdala region of the brain. The Amygdala is the integrative center for emotions, emotional behavior, and motivation.

When the Amygdala is stressed it can be very disruptive to our life:

  • Anxiousness
  • Feeling Discouraged
  • Frequently being frustrated or angry
  • Low motivation
  • Negative habits, like cigarette smoking and stress eating
  • Sleep and digestive disturbances
  • Lack of motivation
  • Unable to take the steps needed to pursue a desired goal in your life
  • Finding less joy in life and in much more

EFT uses finger tapping stimulation of these powerful points, to reset the Amygdala and allow new patterns of thinking, because are also freeing the flow of energy in the channels and diffusing the stored stress response.

It's very exciting to see our clients recall things which were previously uncomfortable for them to think about and after the EFT session, they can recall the memory but they have released the negative feelings about it.

Even though EFT has been proven to be helpful in situations of emotional and physical challenge, it is not Psychotherapy or a substitute for medical care. We don’t focus on treating diseases. EFT lowers stored stress and in doing so, it helps improve your overall mental and physical wellbeing and ability to regain your natural health.
